Coffee Joy

Found this cute coffee joint to camp out and work from after a board meeting. The apple cider chai latte was unique and worth trying. Service was quick and friendly. Would come back next time I am in town, the place was a Joy.

I based out of here last summer and enjoyed a fruitful, productive business day. Barista Tamkan and the chef kept me well cared for. A good place for warmhearted conversation too.

Coffee Joy is a true gem in Baton Rouge! I stopped in during a recent visit and was so impressed—I came back a second time. Coffee Joy has been my hidden gem for years! It's my favorite place in BR to study, read , or simply enjoy a cute coffee date. They have lots of unique flavors and the matcha is soooo gooodd Very chill, cozy, and authentic

Stopped by on our way out of town - no drive thru for those wondering. This coffee shop is so cute with amazing decorations. Plenty of space while still feeling quaint and homey. Their matcha was SO good. Me and my fiancé adored it. The reason for only 4/5 stars (4.5 really is I could) is because the prices and portion. We got a square baklava which was $3.30 before tax and not only was it so small, it came in this huge bag and container. I know baklava takes a lot of work but at my local baker back home it’s the same portion size for $2.25. But that is literally our only feedback as everything else was amazing! I almost forgot to mention how friendly and attentive the service was. It’s like they were ready for us to walk through the door . Wish we got to try it again while in Baton Rouge to see if their breakfast sandwich or gyro salad was any good. Edit: I updated my review to 5 stars instead of 4 because my fiancé let me have the tiny last bite of the baklava and it was amazing, better than the ones I have back home for sure. I just couldn’t get past the price. I guess next time I come I’ll have to bring my dad so he can pay haha.

Tamkan was an amazing barista. He was pleasant to talk with and checked in that we were enjoying our coffee and baklava. We ordered a mocha latte and a mocha pistachio latte. We drank every last drop. I'm currently searching for the best pistachio drink and found it here! The pistachio baklava was exquisite. The atmosphere was enjoyable and inspiring for us (future decoration projects in mind). Soft music plays while a few people studied or enjoyed a coffee break. We would visit again.

There are a few food options, and we really enjoyed our selections. There was only one employee, and she was on top of her game!! A sweet, relaxed local place with lots of parking and so many options for coffee and tea.

Absolutely the most amazing affogato today!! Most delicious espresso and vanilla ice cream!!! Kudos to Coffee Joy for such an excellent product. The service is the best, too.
